I didn't want to like Batter Blaster. But it was created by some friends, and they sponsored Jesse Dayton's bus with a wrap so a couple years ago I said "How bad could it be?"
I liked it. It's hard to get the temp right. Relative to making pancakes from a box, it's expensive. But the no-cleanup is wonderful.

Good times!

If I didn't have to buy a bottle of each of those things, I might just be willing to try it. You know how I love tart(s).

Could you bring some of these to my bedside in the morning? I'd like to add my opinion to this article...with bacon and coffee, please.

Maybe try a marinade instead of just a dry rub? Olive oil, lemon juice (or red wine vinegar), tons of greek spices, garlic. Then add the rub right before you saute? Or maybe grill it instead of sauteing?

Also, some homemade pita bread would knock it out of the park. :)

I eat potatoes with my tacos because I like them. Other fast food places have indoctrinated me to the point where if I don't get potatoes, I miss them.

That's a great idea - thanks to you I think I'm going to attempt crepes for the first time this week. Wish me luck. Maybe I'll make a few extra to use up the leftover manicotti filling I froze from this recipe...mmmmmmmmm.

I heard an ad for this on the car radio last night. I've never been to Chipotle nor Qdoba, though Jefe eats both since they're close to the Lied Center. Maybe we'll give one a shot instead of crisp meat next time ;) On a side note, why do we eat potatoes with our tacos and burritos?

Nice work! We use that Cavender's seasoning on lots of stuff - tater tots in the oven, popcorn... I like the tikka masala better, but regardless, you've got me hankering for some Sultan's Kite now. Maybe I'll make the Jefe trek downtown later for some.

I love to make manicotti using leftover crepes. I think in italian they call it crespelle. I typically use this recipe as the basis http://foodwishes.blogspot.com/2008/06/got-crepes-make-cannelloni.html

NOMMMMMMSSSSS. I've used the same recipe but substituted ground venison, ground beef and sausage in place of chicken. :)
